Polymer Clay for Families – Project: sculpting a jackalope (part 1)

This class is designed for children and families to follow along together. Some parental supervision suggested, especially during the operation of oven or toaster oven.

Part one of a two-part program. Learn the process of making a New Mexican icon: a sculpted clay jackalope. Sean will explain the science behind polymer clays and demonstrate different techniques for working with polymer clays in each class. She will also discuss the history of the icon.
