Advanced Polymer Clay for Families – Project: Learning to Cast (part 1)

This class is designed for children and families to follow along together. Some parental supervision suggested, especially during the operation of oven or toaster oven.

Part one of a two-part program. In Part 1 of this advanced class, students will take polymer clay sculptures from the earlier class and learn the basics of making a silicone mold and casting a resin character! Learn about the science of mold-making and discuss ways this technique is used beyond art.
