We offer over 250 interactive exhibits and activities in science, technology, engineering, math, and art for the whole family.

Visit Us Today!

Explora is open weekly Monday-Sunday from 10:00am-5:00pm. On Monday, we open one hour early from 9:00-11:00am for "Toddler Time." This is a reserved timeslot for our youngest visitors to explore.  Please see "Hours of Operations" for holiday and special hours.

To visit Explora, you can purchase tickets at the door or ahead of time online.  Tickets will be available to reserve up to 10 days in advance. You can reserve using this link or the button below. If you have any issues with the website, please call us at 505-600-6072.

 This requirement is due to our ongoing construction of our new teen center X Studio that will be completed in late 2021! We want to optimize your experience and avoid long lines by the noise. Area Activities

Explora is located in the heart of Albuquerque’s historic Old Town district. A trip to Explora can be combined with a day of historic visits and shopping in Old Town. Several other museums are nearby: The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science and The Albuquerque Museum of Art and History. The Albuquerque Biopark (zoo, aquarium, botanic garden, Tingley Beach) is also close.
