One of the artists you’ll discover is Carlos Zapata, whose work has been shown around the world. Born in Colombia, Carlos was inspired by a visit to the Cabaret Mechanical Theatre in London — an experience that eventually led him to a lifelong career creating moving sculptures. ⁠

As Carlos says, "To define automata, I think, is a very difficult question. It’s like creating life through movement."⁠
